Manage your file organization from a single face
Powerful document management software does not have to be complicated. Organize your files, scan paper documents, edit your PDFs, and search your files from a clean and simple interface in one meaningless way: an electronic filing cabinet. This cabinet uses the usual cabinet / drawer / folder layout, with a simple flow from left to right. The fence “overlaps” with the normal oneWindows directory, so you can see the files in the case without importing them. You can also store any type of Windows file in the closet. (If you prefer the traditional Explorer Explorer, FileCenter also offers Explorer View.)
Open save any file type
FileCenter DMS can store any type of Windows file. It also integrates perfectly with the Save and Open function in most programs. This means that you can (optionally) replace the standard Windows Save / Open dialog with a customized version of FileCenter. Save files directly to the archive locker from most of your programs, as part of a normal workflow that you don’t have to import. Then reopen it from FileCenter in your favorite application. This integration can be enabled / disabled program by program.
Save the file with predefined naming conventions
The most tedious part of saving a file is now the simplest: choosing a name.
Provide a list of common file names. Include dynamic information if desired. When it’s time to save or rename a file, name it with a single mouse click. FileCenter DMS Professional and Pro Plus also add file naming conventions known as Naming Options. It can contain dynamic information such as dates, names of customers or patients and their increases. You can even extract text from a barcode file name or OCR text from documents. Literally name and save a new file or scan with just a few mouse clicks.
Manage your inbox files with your inbox
If you receive file entries in specific folders, FileCenter DMS can display a split view with this inbox at the top and your usual locker at the bottom. Then the files are easy to move to the closet. Combine this feature with naming options and renaming features and you can organizeand rename dozens of incoming files just by dragging and dropping.
Make sure the folder layout is in line with the template
Convert the standard folder structure preparation into parts by changing the folder layout to a reusable template. You can specify a simple or complex layout of reusable folders as much as you want, including nested folders with many layers. You can then apply this design to any drawer or folder. It becomes very useful when you add new drawers or folders at the same time using the folder layout. Consistent design is essential for an easy-to-use file organization system.
